means encouraging a shift from digital activities to outdoor experiences in nature. Instead of spending hours on devices, children and adults alike can benefit from walks in the park, gardening, fishing, kayaking, or outdoor play. This not only promotes physical health and mental well-being but also fosters a deeper connection with the environment. By setting screen limits and planning regular nature-based activities, we can create a healthier balance and make time for the natural world in our daily lives.
Our town parks are vibrant, welcoming spaces that offer something for everyone—whether you're looking to relax, exercise, play, or connect with others. By spending time in our local parks, we not only improve our physical and mental well-being but also strengthen our sense of community. These green spaces are here for us all to enjoy, from morning walks and family picnics to sports and community events. Let’s come together to make the most of these beautiful areas—step outside, get involved, and help bring our parks to life!
